By accessing and using PersonalFi.ai ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our personal finance management platform and all related services provided by PersonalFi.ai ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

PersonalFi.ai provides a comprehensive personal finance management platform that helps users track income, expenses, and financial goals. Our service includes:

• Bank account integration and transaction monitoring
• Income and expense tracking
• Financial goal setting and progress monitoring
• Investment tracking and analysis
• Educational content and financial research
• Mobile and web applications

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Financial Data and Privacy

Your financial data is protected by our comprehensive Privacy Policy. Key points include:

• We use bank-level security to protect your financial information
• We never sell your personal or financial data to third parties
• We use Plaid for secure bank connections and are fully compliant with financial data regulations
• You retain full control over your data and can delete your account at any time
• We use your data only to provide our services and improve your financial management experience

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit harmful, threatening, or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without permission
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

PersonalFi offers paid plans. The exact price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the App Store or at checkout before you pay. Prices are in your local currency and may include tax.

• PersonalFi (monthly or yearly): your daily net, side hustle tracking and bank sync.
• PersonalFi Pro (monthly or yearly): everything in PersonalFi, plus Copilot, the personal finance AI.
• Founding Member: a one-time payment for PersonalFi Pro for as long as PersonalFi operates the Service. Seats are limited.

Free trials. Some plans start with a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the plan starts and you are charged.

Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

App Store purchases are billed by Apple. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings, and request refunds from Apple.

Web purchases are billed through our payment partners (RevenueCat and Stripe). Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email or by emailing support@personalfi.ai.

Referral and affiliate programs. Promotional months of PersonalFi Pro from a referral or affiliate code have no cash value and are limited to one code per new account. Affiliates are paid under the separate terms shown on personalfi.ai/affiliates.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PersonalFi.ai and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

No Financial Advice: PersonalFi.ai provides tools and information to help you manage your finances, but we do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult with qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

Service Availability: We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, PersonalFi.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or use.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party financial institutions and services, including:

• Plaid for secure bank connections
• Financial institutions for account access
• Investment platforms for portfolio tracking

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
